20 percent of europeans have never been to Internet

According to Eurostat, over 60 percent of Europeans aged 16 to 74 use Internet every day.  It sounds like a great amount, still it’s not that much once you start analyzing it. However, the main question is - what do the rest of them do?

As shown in the survey, about 20 percent of EU population have never gone to the Internet. It makes it around a hundred million people.  The article goes with a graph displaying similar proportions for other countries. The most proficient are the Scandinavians, the Dutch and especially the Swedish: only four percent of them would not ever visit the Web. At the opposite end, there is Romania, with 42 percent of its citizens to have never visited the Internet.
